Chrome and Firefox have already implemented its own PDF render engine within the browser, hence, such render does not support Adobe’s special interactive PDFs. With that, you need Adobe PDF reader to view them and save those fillable PDF forms. The default PDF Viewer can render pretty much all the PDF out there except … interactive PDF forms. You can jump to a page, rotate files, and view the PDF as a presentation.Up until recently, I found no need to change the default PDF Viewer in Chrome or Firefox. Notable PDF is a Chrome extension that puts a more feature rich PDF viewer in your browser. Now, past that novelty, browsers are not the most impressive PDF viewers you have your normal zoom in/out functions, printing, and saving but that’s it.
Browsers at the very least they let you open a PDF and read it and that will always be better than saving it to your desktop and using a desktop application to view it.
